Graves Furniture Shop has been a fixture on Industrial Drive in Matthews, North Carolina since 2016. What began as a restoration and refinishing workshop has grown into a full-service furniture destination, offering solid wood pieces, space-saving designs, and home organization solutions for every room in the house.
Our team brings decades of hands-on furniture experience — from antique repair and reupholstery to modern modular design. We know how furniture is built because we have built, repaired, and restored it ourselves.
What We Do
We offer a carefully selected range of furniture for every room: standing desks and office chairs for productive workspaces, platform beds and dressers for restful bedrooms, sofas and sectionals for comfortable living rooms, dining tables and bar sets for gatherings, and storage solutions that keep homes organized.
Every piece we sell is chosen with the same standard we apply to our restoration work: solid construction, honest materials, and lasting value. We do not sell disposable furniture. We sell pieces that are built to be used, lived with, and kept.
Our Restoration Heritage
Before we were a furniture shop, we were craftspeople. Graves Furniture Shop built its reputation repairing and restoring heirloom pieces — refinishing oak tables, reupholstering worn chairs, repairing veneer, and bringing antique dressers back to life. That hands-on knowledge informs everything we sell today.
